I finally got my braces off!
Yes, and now I have this nice little lisp from the retainer (haha... I mean lisssp). Not that anyone seemed to notice the lisp or the fact that I have nothing on my teeth.
My favorite part about this story is, that it was the first day my dentail hygenist was working and her first time doing the procedure. I was afraid she was going to do something wrong the whole time.
At one point the orthidontist goes:
"Now, Megan, relax your lower lip."
This is when I get material for my blog. This is when I think, "Get the sharp pointy thing away from my gum and then we'll talk about this relaxing you speak of." Which came out more like, "It a arp oiny ing aay om I um n en ill alk aout i eaxin o eak a." Which only made the orthidontist and the denail hygenist laugh because they obviously had no idea what I had said.
I spent the rest of my day trying to be able to say "I think there might be a breeze," and "she sells seashells by the seashore," the rest of the day with my retainers in, which my group found quiet commical in English.
